next time you visit catch the made and buy some from her. Or leave a tip out with a note saying more soaps to take home.

(Soap making) How do I get a stronger scent from the fragrance oil?
I recently bought some fragrance oils from a popular supplier. On their website the suggested amount of fragrance oil to use was 0.5oz per pound (for melt&pour soap making). So that’s what I did. Now my soaps are ready to use, and the smell is very faint. So how can I get a more concentrated scent? Do I just put more fragrance oil in my soap? What are the effects of putting too much fragrance oil in soap?
..Let me add that I bought soap recently with the same scent on it. it was also a melt&pour soap and we got our fragrance oil from the same supplier. The soap I bought had a strong smell to it. (strong like it fills my bathroom with its scent). I want my soap to be like that.
As someone else already suggested you may be adding the fragrance oil while the soap is still to hot, the scent will flash off in too hot soap. Leaving your soap faintly scented.
Sometimes there are other reasons, scents such as coconut (no matter where you buy it) are always faint.
You can add more fragrance but keep in mind they are synthetic and not exactly good for us. Human skin is like a sponge, it will absorb some of what you put on it, so don’t go overboard just to make the bathroom smell good. You can use that same fragrance and make smelly jellies or other air freshener to do that, without subjecting your body to an overdose of chemicals.
