It can be a very good ingredient to use in scrubbing surfaces and can do the job as well as coarse cleansers that are available in the market today.
It also makes a great deodorizer. You can conveniently place a box of baking soda in areas like the refrigerator or any other place that is in dire need of a deodorizing action. It is indeed an all-purpose cleaner that is a cheap buy considering the range of other things that it can help you with aside from baking.
Lemon juice, as what I have mentioned before, is an excellent natural cleanser because of the acid that it contains. It can be used to dissolve scum that was produced through soap and it a great ingredient in cleaning and shining brass and copper up. When mixed with baking soda or vinegar, lemon juice can make for a very powerful cleaning paste. You can also use this with olive oil to polish wooden furniture in your home.
There are so many other things that you can use to clean various surfaces and furniture in your home. Be creative and learn how to mix and match certain products to be able to achieve a greatly cleansed effect.
