How can I make my own laundry soap?
I am out of laundry soap, and have researched on the net how to make my own…all the “recipies” pretty much call for the same things…however I do not have Borax or washing soda and I don’t have any money to buy that stuff or I would just buy laundry detergent. I do have in the house, bars of soap, lever 2000, baking soda and vinegar, which I have used as laundry boosters before, does anyone have a solution to my problem? I have 6 people in my house, and the laundry is piling up! PLEASE HELP!

Choose Hypoallergenic Laundry Detergent for Sensitive Skin
Anyone with allergies knows what it’s like to slip on clothes washed in a new detergent. It can mean red, itchy skin, hives, or worse. To avoid an adverse reaction, use hypoallergenic laundry detergent. Hypoallergenic means that the product does not contain known allergens.
You need to find something with no scents, perfumes, or dyes. Look for a product that is easy on the environment, and that works in both cold and hot water. It may be easy on your allergies, but it should be able to be tough on stains. Read the label and make sure it will do all you need it to accomplish.
Watch for one that is concentrated, so you’ll get more loads of laundry per bottle.
Make sure that you take the time to check both the product and your washer for details on how best to fill it with detergent. Using too much or too little can cause irritation or lingering odors. If your laundry feels a bit sticky when it comes out, simply put it through a rinse cycle and it be fine.
Having allergies is no fun, and being allergic to products in your own home can be more than frustrating.
If you find that your clothes are making your skin crawl, and you think you might be having an allergic reaction, try going back to your old detergent or soap. Then change one product or food at a time and keep a diary, to see if you can spot when the change happens.
To be sure, bring your notes and the ingredient labels from the products in question to an allergy specialist and have them test you to confirm your suspicions.
Allergies can develop later in life, and they can also change. So something that never bothered you before can become an irritant out of the blue.
If this happens, then start using hypoallergenic laundry detergent and see how you feel.
If you find that your regular laundry soap is causing you to react, make sure that you check other possible causes at the same time. It may be a sign that your allergies are changing, and that it’s time to get retested.
Having a product like this on hand can be useful, especially if you have family or friends that visit, or little visitors whose clothing needs extra special care.
Always keep your detergent out of the way of children and pets, as it can be very dangerous for them to attempt to ingest it. Read the label to find out what to do in case of such an emergency.
In addition, there are many other hypoallergenic products on the market than can make a world of difference for those with sensitive skin. You can find a host of soaps, detergents for clothing and dishes, as well as cosmetics and skincare products for men and women.
If you don’t have allergies, don’t worry. You can still use hypoallergenic laundry detergent without a problem, and your laundry will come out fine.

allergic reaction to laundry soap?
What would you put on an alergic reaction to laundry soap? They look kinda like hives but they are itchy and i dont know how to make it stop help.
Get new laundry soap, rewash EVERYTHING possible in your house.
Go in the shower, wash well or if you have oats, take a bath and soak in the oats.
Make sure you don’t put your contaminated clothes back on, or dry with a contaminated towel!!! Plan ahead! If you have anti-histamine take them until your body calms down.
